Simplifying Kundalini for the yogis of the South Bay.

Roni Glassman RYT® 500, is certified to teach kundalini and vinyasa styles of yoga. Roni first discovered vinyasa yoga during her days as an undergraduate student at UCI in 2002. She later fell in love with the energetically transformational practice of kundalini yoga in 2011 when she was pregnant with her first daughter on a prenatal yoga DVD.

Roni simplifies and enhances the practice of kundalini and vinyasa for all yogis, regardless of experience. Geet Adi Kaur is her spiritual name. Geet translates to singing or song. Adi refers to God's/Goddess’/Universal Source’s primal energy which is infinite. Kaur means lioness of God/Goddess/Universal Source who walks with grace and strength throughout her life. Roni opens the hearts and minds of those around her with harmony, expansiveness, peace and joy.

Learn to trust your inner teacher

This world is a one-room schoolhouse. We are all spiritual beings having a human experience to learn the lessons required to learn to love each other unconditionally. The more you truly connect to yourself and to those around you, all stories tend to have shared common humanity experience if you lean in a little closer… Learn to ride the waves of time, space and life by embracing each moment even when it doesn’t “feel” stable. Have fun! It’s your birthright!

What is Kundalini?

Kunda means coil & lini means line…

Our kundalini energy which is often defined as a coiled serpent 🐍 of energy (think of it as a storehouse of “prana” or life force energy) that rests between our navel center and tailbone.

Kundalini energy awakens and aligns the mind body and spirit through a combination of pranayama (breath work), mantra (sound chanting) and asana (postures). This is the “yoga of awareness” where we intentionally stoke our energy centers (chakras) for feedback. We listen deeply to feel what we need to heal. We cultivate a feeling of being “at home” no matter the circumstances of life.

Kundalini Yoga teaches us that we are not just our physical body but also our soul, our mind, our arcline, our aura, our pranic body, our subtle body and our radiant body. During kundalini yoga classes, you will stretch your physical body thoroughly and energetically pull your kundalini shakti energy up from your first chakra all the way up to the crown chakra (and back down for grounding). This practice creates waves of consciousness that can lead to authentic healing and a focus on the soul to guide you in fulfilling the purpose of your life.

Kundalini Thursdays @ 9:30am-10:45am @ PVE home studio or via ZOOM!
